An indoor basketball must have the correct grip for an indoor floor or hardwood floor. Due to the soft quality leather, the ball sticks well to your hand for the desired ball control. Most Indoor Basketballs are equipped with Moisture Absorb technology, so that the ball absorbs moisture when the hands are sweaty.
